Claviers maitres

Un clavier maitre est un clavier qui ne produit aucun son mais envoie simplement des évènements MIDI à un module externe, un autre clavier ou un ordinateur.

Ce type de clavier est idéal pour les logiciels d'éducation musicale comme Jalmus, les synthétiseurs logiciels comme Pianoteq, les « samplers » comme Linuxsampler, East West Quantum Leap Piano ou Synthogy Ivory et les autres instruments virtuels.
