LES PAUL Models

  • GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO PRO PLUS

The original idea for the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar was to create a somewhat lower-priced Paul by dispensing with some cosmetics. The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. The Les Paul Studio Pro Plus steps up its game and narrows the gap with a potent humbucker combo of BurstBucker Pro in the bridge and 490R in the neck that deliver warm rhythm and hot, solid lead sounds with the added tonal flexibility of coil-splitting. Hallmark Les Paul features include a set mahogany neck with ’60s SlimTaper profile, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with a AA flamed maple top with your choice of nitro finishes.

  • GIBSON JONAS BROTHERS MELODY MAKER

  • GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO

Since 1983, Gibson USA has been proving not only that less is sometimes more, but also that less can sometimes knock your socks off – when it comes in the form of the popular no-nonsense Les Paul Studio model, at least. • GIBSON LES PAUL SLASH APPETITE

The Gibson Slash Appetite Les Paul is patterned after Slash played on the famous Guns N’ Roses Appetite For Destruction album and remains his main recording guitar. To honor this achievement, Gibson introduces the Slash Appetite Les Paul, a guitar equipped with the finest features of the original Les Paul Standards of 1958-’60, and the added punch of Seymour Duncan Signature Series Alnico II Pro Slash humbucking pickups.

  • GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD TRADITIONAL

With all the fat, sweet, snarling Les Paul tone that purists love, the Traditional plays, sounds, and feels like the Les Pauls that today’s players grew up loving and lusting after. Taking design and visual cues from the Les Pauls of the ’80s and ’90s, the Les Paul Traditional starts with a Grade-A mahogany body and adds nine strategically placed traditional weight-relief holes for a beefy tone that maintains the resonance of modern Les Pauls, while losing a large portion of the weight. This is capped with a maple top, giving the Les Paul Traditional the look of the great Les Pauls that helped to bring rock back to the front of the stage in the mid ’80s. Capping the Traditional with a maple top not only looks great, but it also brings out presence and definition to the tone. With the look of the great Les Paul Standards that helped to make rock king again, and every ounce of the tone thanks to legendary Gibson construction, classic tonewoods, and two genuine humbucking pickups, the Les Paul Traditional is the guitar to take your music center stage where it belongs.

  • GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO 50’S TRIBUTE HUMBUCKER

Released midway through 2010, the Les Paul Studio ’50s Tribute packed the stripped-down appeal of the long-running Studio line in a great ’50s-themed model with P-90 pickups that was a major hit with players everywhere, and sold out quickly as a result. Now the Les Paul Studio ’50s Tribute Humbucker from Gibson USA captures the same popular look and feel, updated with the PAF-style humbucking pickups that hit the Les Paul model later that decade. Being introduced first at Thomann, this is sure to be one of the most desirable formats introduced to the Les Paul Studio series since its inception in 1983.

  • GIBSON BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG LES PAUL JUNIOR

Simple, straightforward, and to-the-point rock tone : that’s why Billie Joe rocks a vintage Junior and why you’ll love the Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior electric guitar. Billie Joe’s signature model is a modern re-creation of the vintage Juniors he plays on stage. While the Junior may have started life as a budget model, it has proven it has the muscle to deliver the powerful sounds needed for modern music. The flat-top, single-cutaway mahogany body and single dog-ear, double-coil H-90 pickup combination is unbeatable for punchy, defined-yet-dirty tone. The mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard (ebony on classic white model) and ’1960 slim-tapered neck profile is comfy and gives you something solid to hold on to. It also has a wraparound compensated bridge, nickel tuners, and volume and tone controls.

  • GIBSON EXPLORER VAMPIRE BLOOD MOON

Dark as the night, evisceratingly sharp, vital as blood—the Gibson USA Explorer Vampire Blood Moon is here to rock the evil side of midnight, with a power and a fury like nothing known before. This brand new model from Gibson USA takes its cue from the radical Explorer, an iconic rock guitar ever since its introduction as part of the Modernistic Series way back in 1958, and pushes it way over the top for the contemporary rock and metal artist. The guitar is loaded with cutting-edge hardware and components, yet retains a businesslike simplicity that puts nothing in the way of letting you get the job done. Two fully active Gibson GEM pickups provide unprecedented power, while a double-locking vibrato system offers unbridled stylistic versatility to the unhinged rocker, with outstanding tuning stability.

  • GIBSON EXPLORER 76

With its angular, asymmetrical body and pointed headstock, the legendary Gibson Explorer was light years ahead of its time when it was first introduced in 1958. In fact, the Explorer was such a radical departure that Gibson produced only about 100 of the famed instruments—many of which are now highly prized collectibles selling for upwards of half a million dollars. Today, the same far-out, futuristic Gibson Explorer—reintroduced in the mid-1970s—is one of the most coveted powerhouses of screaming rock and roll.
